What solutions have others tried to solve this problem in the past?

One core task of many technologists is to identify innovative and practical solutions for problems of business relevance. SPA’s technologists work closely with clients in this endeavor by researching technical resources, e.g., patents and technical publications, identifying core problems that these publications address and documenting the solutions they developed. This technical analysis is presented to SPA’s clients in a succinct form so that the client is thence empowered to make a decision on the next steps. Sometimes, just the documentation of the problems that others are working on is itself very insightful for an R&D manager looking to craft a new R&D strategy.
